HON. MR. JUSTICE PETER MULWA holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Nairobi. Hon. Mulwa joined the Judiciary as a District Magistrate II and rose through the ranks and served in various court stations. He was appointed the Registrar Subordinate Courts at the rank of Senior Principal Magistrate.

He is trained in Modern Trends in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Mechanisms at the National Center for Judicial Studies (Egypt), Judicial Administration at the Royal Institute of Public Administration (RIPA) International (U.K.) and Judicial Case Management and Ethics at the Civil Service College (U.K.). Additionally, Hon. Mulwa has undergone training in Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) at the Kenya School of Government and holds a Diploma in Contemporary Public Administration from the Galilee International Management Institute – GIMI (Israel).

Hon. Mulwa was appointed Judge of the High Court on 5th December, 2022 and currently serves in the Commercial and Tax Division.
